SEPTEMBER EVENT DETAILS
Theology on Tap is September 3rd, and our guest Speaker is Dr. Joey Belleza, Program Director at Mount Saint Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology in Cincinnati. The title of his talk is "Saint Francis: The Man, the Myths, and the Legends". Talk starts at 7pm but everyone is welcome beforehand to grab a drink and some food! Free parking is available at the nearby Holy Trinity Catholic Church, if you would like to park and walk to the Oregon Express. There is also a paid lot next to the Oregon Express where you can pay to park for $3.
Spiritual Book Club is on September 9th and 23rd of this month. They will be continuing to read the ScrewTape Letters by C.S. Lewis. Contact Danny Sweeney for more information about the group, and the address for meetings.
Activity Night is on September 10th at 6:30pm. Join us for mini golf at The Magic Castle located at 4990 Wilmington Pike, OH. Stay tuned to social media and GroupMe for details on our activity night this month!

Candlelight Mass is on September 17th at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. Our presider will be Fr. Tran, a Parochial Vicar from the St. Gabriel Family of Parishes. Please sign-up to volunteer as an altar server, sacristan, or choir member. Following Candlelight Mass, we will have a Potluck Social and Lectio Divina. Please sign-up here as a liturgical volunteer or to bring a food item for the Potluck!
Board Game Night is September 19th at St. Joseph’s Parish Life Center in downtown Dayton. Game play will start at 4pm and go till ~11pm, with the intent of starting any longer games by 4:30pm. It is recommended that those planning to arrive after 4:30 pm should arrive around 6:30 pm. There will be pizza arriving at 6:30 pm. Feel free to bring snacks or (non-alcoholic) drinks to share!
Bar Social will be at the Dayton Beer Company on September 24th. Join us for food, drinks, and socializing with new friends!
